Talk to your child first

A profile works best when your son or daughter agrees and helps. Ask what they want in a partner and which details they are happy to share. Their consent is required.

Choose “This profile is for: Son / Daughter”

On HimJodi the questions then speak to you: “Tell us about your son”, “What kind of partner are you looking for for your daughter?”. Everything is also available in Hindi.

Fill in the family details carefully

Family type, native place, parents’ occupations and brothers and sisters are what other families look for first.

Pick photos together

Choose recent, clear photos your child is comfortable with, and decide together who can see them.

Stay safe

Never send money or OTPs to anyone you have not met. Talk on a video call before meeting, and use Report if anything feels wrong.
